Gabehart doesn’t strike me as someone trying to steal or misappropriate secrets for financial gain (sell them to a team) or for competitive advantage (nothing really translates to Chevys), BUT his actions were stupid no matter the motivation.

ALSO…while the judge ruled that his noncompete was managed by JGR properly, they likely didn’t provide proper coordination on his remaining salary and health care benefits. Gabehart will have to sue for those, and should. Companies have to follow protocols on those things, and could be held libel for damages.
 
Gabehart will have to pay a fine, none of the other teams will be drug into court by the preacher trying to make a federal case out of it. Gabehart continues doing what he is doing for Spire.
 
So are they just throwing out the whole separation, but not termination for several months without compensation or benefits?

Gabehart is a very smart guy. He absolutely knew what he was doing. He was overinflated, and didn't like it when he reached for too much. Probably said something about the owners grandson in the process. Bad move. That is BS that nothing translates to Chevys and/or Fords. No question an engineer can interpret set up philosophy and translate it to their particular make.

Joe Gibbs Racing pointed to the increased competitive success of Spire Motorsports, including a victory on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway as reason to resolve this dispute as soon as possible.

How come last year both Hocevar and McDowell were being recognized by Nascar and others as being much improved?
 
I guess Gibbs's bunch is banking on the judge knowing nothing about racing. At Dega, Hamlin and Briscoe screwed themselves in the pits and served pass thru penalties while Bell and Gibbs wrecked. :idunno: BTW JGR's lawyers must not know much either to include Dega reasoning in their lawsuit.

How come you used Hocevar's win as evidence of performance?

Indeed, the most unpredictable race on the circuit, where luck is a major factor, is PROOF that Spire has an advantage from JGR. Seriously, Gibbs and company have become obsessed, paranoid marble rotators (old movie reference).

Where were you when @StandOnIt was chest thumping over it....and waiting eagerly to see if OUR horsepower advantage would be evident?

I wondered the same thing. But HP advantage isn’t as big at a plate track where aero and drafting, wrecks and luck dictate more than engineering prowess. Hamcrap pooped in his own bed again, so never found out if he could maintain a lead.

While almost every yota was either damaged in a wreck or stubbed their toes in the pits the first stage. JGR's lawyers pointed out Hocevar's "performance advantage" in winning Dega as part of the proof of that because of Gabehart lol. Revman using they yota's misfortunes at Dega as proof the Yotas don't have a horsepower advantage as proof is typical and laughable.
The facts are Hocevar had the 48 Chevy of Bowman glued to his ass pushing him to victory and the best any damaged Yota could do was 14th.
On to Texas after once again Nascar didn't take any Yotas back to R&D. They took Busch and Zane instead?

More bull****. They took multiple Toyotas in the first several races....two at one time for a race. I ask again, should I be worried about a horsepower advantage? If so, why? Are you looking for NASCAR to give The Felon a title louver treatment help? I didn't think a super speedway would prove anything. Still don't, but you did....and now you are **** talking JGR for doing the same. Foot in mouth.

You probably think the Yotas should only get inspected once a year. The rest of us can count.

Dear God, that guy has a history of this kind of sleazy ****.....but, I forgot.....that happens all of the time in business....and this kind of thing happens all of the time when people switch teams. I forgot.

So good. Why does he look like an ass? Other side of the coin? But I get it.....Anything pro JGR/Toyota is smoke us asses, but anything anti are statements of fact. Denny does more for this sport than literally any other driver including the ones running Bumble****, ND on dirt. You should thank him.
