These is a conspiracy going on. Talladega---Mark Martin a Rousch driver swerves into Jimmy Johnson and ends Jimmie's chance for a good finish. Then a few weeks later Jeff Burton another rousch driver slides up off a cornor into Jeff Gordon.

Now I need to ask. Is this a conspiracy to eliminate two great drivers from competing for the championship title, or just plain old rotten luck for Jimmie and Jeff????????????

Well maybe if someone other than Mark was involved in the Dega instance, you might have shot at advancing the theory.

But since Mark is in the thick of the chase (or was, depending on your viewpoint) it would be a foolhardy gamble to risk taking himself out as well.

And since I believe that Roush still seeks to get Jeff into the top ten in points in this season (Martinsville didn't help much) his involvement would be tactically questionable as well.

And I can't believe I answered this seriously!:D
 
I think its plain old rotten luck. No driver purposely tries to wreck another driver. And in Jimmie Johnson's case Mark hitting him didn't really affect his position at the end of the race since he did lose his engine late in the race (along with all the other Hendrick's cars)
 
Hell yes.Is all part of a master plan at the Rousch house.:rolleyes: I can't wait to see what Mat,and Kurt got up there sleave this week.:P
 
If it were anyone besides Martin, I might lend an ear. Mark's probably the cleanest driver out there, along with Bobby Labonte and Dale Jarrett.

I figure ol Ward is pretty clean,as many times as he has washed out on the track. :P Just pulling your chain TW.:D
 
what about Jeff Burton taking out Sterlin' Marlin- you didn't mention that one......
 
To def3, please check out the signature under my post. No. 40 is not listed. Although I do like the guy though.

By the way, please keep in mind that when I post these crazy threads I am trying (unsuccessfully) to be a comedian.:P :P :P :P
