Im seriously considering buying a car to get setup over the next year and start racing it in 2018. If anyone on here has some wisdom they could share with me from when they got started in the Ucar division I would appreciate any advice thrown my way. Ideally I would like to purchase a car that's already set up to some degree to keep cost down. I have been studying the rule book for my local track and plan on finding a car that has already been run there or at a similar track. How many hours on average should I expect to be putting in weekly during racing season on a Ucar (assuming I don't wreck the **** out of it)? Anybody have an average yearly budget as to what it takes to run a Ucar for a season? As much knowledge as I can gain over the next year the better. I am not one to show up unprepared for something I plan on taking very seriously.
