I have stood on the memorial above the USS Arizona, it was one of the most emotionally intense feelings I have ever had. The Arizona is the grave of 1200+ sailors that died on December 7, 1941. I welled up big that day.

When I was there I didn't get emotional but thought a lot about where I am and what it all meant. I looked out in different directions and tried to imagine what it must've been like for these men and women at the base. I don't believe I've been to a more historic place.
