He (or his PR people) started @TonyStewart years ago just to park the account and keep squatters or a fake "Tony Stewart" from getting it. But now he's actually using it, which is cool. Or his PR lackies.

Both Dale Jr. and Tony are finally on Twitter this year. They were the two holdouts of drivers you'd actually care about.
 
Old School Tony on twitter...now that's a hoot!

Tony: "so I just type stuff in like a regular email?"

Tony's Assistant: "Well yes, but you only get a limited amount of characters"

Tony: "What the hell do you mean by "characters"..and why am I limited?"

Assistant: "Characters are like letters or numbers, many folks use abbreviations to get more content in."

Tony: "So I can send a twitter thing to Goodyear and tell em their tires sucked at Charlotte?"

Assistant: "Yes...but your twitter will be available to the whole racing fandom...the whole world."

Tony: "Hmmm...sorta like shortwave radio eh?...OK...nevermind about the Goodyear thing."

Assistant: "What's shortwave?"
 
Cant help but wonder what Dale Sr could have accomplished, if he only had had tweeter.
 
Who's taking bets on how long until Tony shows his hypocrisy again by getting into a Twitter fight? What's the over/under on 2 months? :D lol
 
Tony is old school. I doubt he takes to twitter to whine like these new kids
