Tony Stewart holds up his end.

Nope . I am not in favor of changing Nascar back and forth like a ping pong ball at the whim of the fans . No other sport in the world has as many changes . It is just plain stupid. In fact , I doubt that any other sport has a fan council that makes it's rules.

Most other major league sports have players assocciations and are run by a board. Nascar is not so I'd say that if anyone has an issues with the way Nascar is run, they should take it up with the Dictator himself - not the fans.

Weird , that's how out of touch I am with other sports. I thought the other sports were run by the team owners .They , in turn, hired a CEO that made it look like someone was in charge. I really don't follow other sports mainly because the players seem to keep changing every year . I migrated to Nascar because there were the same forty three guys racing every week and ,once I learned their names , I could follow their exploits . I only have a very small brain and it really thrives on consistency.:(

LOL. This isn't politics so let's not try to remove responsibility by passive aggressively deflecting or changing the subject. Brian France alone runs Nascar and he makes the decisions so how can anyone else be to blame for the state of the railroad?

So can we deal with his decisions and leave other sports out of it if they're not helping either of us prove a point?

We can only pray.

That is why Tony was complaining in that video. Nascar did everything in their power to make racing more dangerous by bringing back pack racing. I honestly think Nascar wants wrecked cars at plate races. They wont admit it, but they know the big one brings ratings.

Correct, all the freeking commentators could scream everytime a car stepped sideways was
"HERE'S THE BIG ONE''

Oh please, NASCAR did not go back to pack racing because they wanted more wrecks. They went back to pack racing because tandem only racing is stupid and nobody liked it. Having to be pushed by another driver or having to push another driver for an entire race is crazy.

NASCAR used the cooling package to control the tandem racing. They never explained the larger plate, which made the cars faster, and the smaller spoiler, side skirt and sharkfin. Faster cars + less down force is an odd choice.

unless you want to produce wrecks.
