@Greg will be pleased :D

Tony racing tonight in Palmerston North tonight.

There was some drama with between the US guys last saturday.

There will one less American driver now though, with Brad Loyet sent home after a fracas on the infield with fellow American Johnathan Allard. Allard had fired up the inside of Loyet, taking the front of his car out and rolling him. An unhappy Loyet then attacked Allard.

The intensity of Loyet showed the American drivers aren't in New Zealand for a holiday, with Stewart sending his own car and chief engineer out a week ago to look at the track and get the car ready.

It’s driving me crazy and can someone set me straight...

Looking at the picture of Tony’s Sprint Car I zero in on the headers. 1 pipe, 2 pipes, 1 pipe. That sure looks like a small block Chevy header. It’s been a while since I spent any time under a hood, but with a Ford V-8 I expect 4 in a row (no Center pairing). And yeah, there’s a Ford oval on the wing, and Stewart HassRacing runs Fords and...

I better stop, my head is gonna explode.

Prolly a muffler.
This track is in the middle of the city and they are constantly trying to shut it down because of noise complaints...even tho it has be here since 1929

Don't you love that? There's a poultry processing plant in a town near here. It's been there for 50+ years, is the largest customer of the town's water utility, the largest single employer, one of the largest tax payers, and one of the largest charitable contributors. The Johnny-come-lately luxury apartments for university students want it to shut down or relocate because they don't like the smell ... that was there decades before the developers were gleams in Daddy's eyes.

Tony could be fired up tonight. Racing hasn't even started but I think I got him pissed already. Lol
He turned around real sudden and almost smacked his kisser into my phone. He had that that exasperated look. Lol

Me and my pal.....

I was trying to figure out your meaning...but yeah selfies are mirror image. :D
You're kidding? I've never taken one so I don't know. Are all pictures taken with phone cameras in mirror image format? If not, how does the camera know if it's pointed toward you and not away?

Huh. I really did learn something today. Damn, that's not why I come here!

American Shane Stewart won the race and claimed the three-round series in the process.

NASCAR star Tony Stewart reportedly walked out on the meeting midway through the night without explanation.

He completed two heat races and had qualified for the feature race but did not take his place in the decider.

Tony was overheard ranting on about some fan almost smacking him with his phone as he left the arena.....

Too bad you didn't get to talk to Jimmy Carr. His mom lives in Mellow Rock.

Amazing. Shane Stewart grew up in Tulsa. I knew his dad Mike also a sprinter, he owned car and fleet auto parts, real good friend with the machinist who leased the back of the shop Goober (Roy) who used to race a double engine dragster back in the day, and I watched Shane race a sprint car the first time at the old Tulsa speedway. The kid has done well for himself.
