I'm on board
34 years between the original and the sequel, that’s gotta be some kind of record.
Maybe Top Gun 3 can be a prequel with a senior citizen Cruise playing a teenaged Maverick.
So I was curious, as of 4/2018 it would rank about #16 in the top 24 longest period between sequels, I know right!
Actually I think that slideshow reads the other way, so it’d be tied for 10th.
Lol you are right, I was counting from the top left down, when I should of counted bottom right up, whoops
It's on my "radar".
I didn’t see the first one
You are lucky
It's been 68 years and the world is *still* waiting for... The African Queen, Part 2. It will probably be a very long wait, because there is no actress who could possibly redux Katharine Hepburn as Rose Sayer...
It's a classic.
Definitely want to see Top Gun 2 when it’s released!
I'll probably watch it once it's on HBO or out on DVD but I'm not going to pay to go sit in a theater to see it.
It's pretty sad though that Hollywood is so devoid of ideas that nothing more that sequels or reboots are the thing.
I think I read somewhere that there are only like 7 plot story lines of movies. I have found it to be pretty much true.
