Perhaps you overstate the significance of a second place finish in a 15 lap heat race.
On a surface the series only runs twice a year.
In 51 starts, she has 4 top 10s. She finishes off the lead lap half the time, and DNFs 20%. She averages finishing 21st, two spots behind where she starts.
