Truck q'ing and race thread -- Eldora

Congrats Kyle! One more lap and there would have been a wild finish!!

Great night for the truck series! Long night too....

Great race tonight! I haven't missed an Eldora race yet! :D I was hoping that Abreu could've made a comeback, but he really got screwed over on set-up in the first heat race he was in.

Lar-SON! He earned it. Passed a ****ton of trucks. So did Abreu. Goodness gracious that truck was atrocious earlier.

Too bad we couldn't get a battle between Larson and Abreu for first. That would've been Epic!!

Thrilled Larson finally got it done at Eldora!! I do have to point out the lack of complaining when cuppers other then Kyle Busch win though, funny how it works haha

Get back to me when Larson has 200 NASCAR wins.

Another memorable race @ Eldora. I really like getting to see Kenny Schrader again. Larson getting to check that event off of his list was fun to watch. It's also great to see all the young talent shine grabbing some tv time. It was fun watching every minute of the on track action.

While most on here tend to bitch about Kenny Wallace, I thought he was very informative and entertaining on the broadcast. I thought he added a lot.

I keep hearing from the talent on the SiriusXM NASCAR Radio shows that this needs to stay as a standalone event for the trucks. I completely disagree. This should be a weeks worth of events that includes all three main Series. It doesn't matter how many fans are able to attend. If it's a tough ticket to get, so be it. The racing isn't the best dirt racing in the country, by far, but it is unique to our sport. That makes it something special.

Rico put on a good show, coming from the back to 3rd. Yeah, he got some Lucky Dog help, but he was still in the mid-20s after he got his lap back. Looks like it just took the combined team a while to get the set-up figured out.

You tell em Kenny!

Kenny did an outstanding job of presenting a lot of really useful and interesting information last night. Get him out of the booth / away from the desk and let him roam around more often. He's what Rutledge Wood tries to be, but Kenny has the experience to do more than just 'infield lifestyle' fluff.

Kenny races quite a bit on dirt and that showed last night. He knew the difference between the Summer Nationals versus the Mid Summer Nationals/Classic that Mikey kept calling it.

I'm glad they put a fair amount of water on the track. It has been extremely dusty there the last several times they have run. One thing though, not sure who thought it was a good idea to put speedy dry on a dirt track to get up oil. All that did was make the track really slick.
