Truck Race @ Bristol

Truck Series inspection is done. Issues with 00, 30 & 19 (race winner). Rear spoiler too high on each Truck.

Nice on Keslowski. Also, Nemechek, Custer, Rhodes, Lajoie... All the younguns did a great job today. Kept it clean and together... Other than JWT.

I hope to see John Hunter in some good equipment someday; he's doing a heck of a job with a family operation. RPM ought to be looking at getting Lajoie back into a Nationwide car.

Just racing at Bristol I guess. John Wes Townley is a complete idiot. I don’t know what the heck he’s doing. Basically, the only reason he is here is that he has his dad’s money so it doesn’t matter. That’s what happens. We started fifth and qualified good but we were just tight all day. It’s just frustrating when you get stuck by there and put yourself placed in a position to get wrecked by guys like that.

A broken DVR would be like the end of the world at my household, thankfully ours have performed well (direct tv)
dealing with their "customer service" can be really painful though and VERY time consuming

I hear ya. At this point I hardly remember TV without a DVR. We have two DVR's networked together through Dish Network. Everything recorded on either is available from anywhere in the house or anywhere we have an internet connection. :cool:

I understand all the technology and although I don't like commercials or think people should watch them if they don't have to, they are what keeps TV going.

So, just like people being blamed for not being real race fans for liking or disliking one thing or another, I'm saying that you guys who skip commercials are not "real" television fans :D. What's next...watching races just for the inevitable crashes?

I don't really root for any particular television brand although I am somewhat partial to Samsung.
 
Great run by Bubba. passed his boss, ran a great race. For a second there, I thought he'd win. Most impressive performance.
 
Great race. In a few years I'm going to feel like such a casual.. I'm going to pull for like, 5 drivers.

BubDub ran great and has shown great improvement, Blaney is like a more talented version of his dad with just as much composure and confidence, same with Ben Rhodes, Ryan Truex, Larson, The Bueschers, The Dillons, shiiiit. Such a casual. "I like everybody"

welcome to the dark side. Looks like Cole Custer might break thru, he had a good showing, and young Nemo had a really good finish.
 
I watched the race from my DVR last night, I enjoyed the race, lot of side by side, they were showing all the field at times, did not stay focused on just a couple. I thought the young guns did a great job, Busch drove like a rookie a time or two, found that interesting. Bubba Wallace did a great job as well, thought his interview sucked though.

Why did they not catch the spoiler in pre race inspection?
 
The frontend on those ford trucks is hideous, about as bad as their current hammer head shark Cup car. WTH is going on with their design team?
