Truck RACE thread --- Kansas

The reason Deegan can’t win is because the field is misogynist, yet the 16 moves over to let her pass and then nearly walls Kyle Busch for no reason. 🙄

I’d rather Kyle Busch win than Zane Smith

Deegan not coming away with a top-10 is extremely disappointing, especially with the attrition midway through the race.

Really inexcusable because that was clearly a top-5 truck.

Every time she starts to impress, it ends in disappointment.

One totally random thing I thought of a few minutes ago. Maybe some guys don’t necessarily want to do it and mess him up on Sunday’s etc.
But if I was l, for example Brennan Poole and Ross is racing tonight and doesn’t earn points etc, I don’t think he’d be finishing the race tonight. It seems like a great time for it other than the fact that Kansas can admittedly be a pretty dangerous place for that.

As usual a good Truck race at Kansas. Enfinger was long overdue for one.

Ross getting a top 5 in a Al Niece brick as usual. After starting last with no power steering.

Respectfully disagree. Not need to wreck a Niece truck, they have nothing to do with Ross and his antics on sunday.

She was 2 circuits away from going down a lap herself. To say she’s underperforming, given her equipment and team, is a wild understatement.

An 18 year old kid, running the 7th race of his rookie season, finished 8th … his 4th top 10 to date and one of those is a top 5. He’s ahead of her in the points and he was ineligible for Daytona.

When the green flag flies, social media engagement numbers don’t factor in. Surely there are more worthy candidates for that ride.

Why you so misogynist bro? /s

Seriously, I expected her to finish top-10. When she was getting great track position on pit stops and it was clear she had a top-5 truck, 12th place doesn’t cut it.

Honestly, given that most of the trucks that were better than her truck wrecked, a top-5 should have been the expectation.

I don’t understand how any Hailie Deegan fan can be happy with that performance. It’s time for the rubber to meet the road.
