I wasn’t able to watch the beginning of the race. Did she just drop back to 22nd under green or did she have an issue?

She ran around 22nd-25th all race. Jumped to 5th on a restart and was back outside the top-20 after about three green flag laps.

Her lack of speed actually caused a wreck while she was up there.

They are going to take the wheel and tire back to tear down, put some air in it, dunk it in a water tank and look for little bubbles.
It is part of the holy trinity of things you don't mess with. The engine, tires, or fuel.

I am gratified to see that my boy Matt Crafton placed fifth. His best finish this season I think.

Milwaukee was a good track for the trucks I thought. Lots of side by side racing for positions.

NASCAR officials issued L2-level penalties Tuesday to the ThorSport Racing No. 98 team in the Craftsman Truck Series for infractions found at the circuit’s most recent race at the Milwaukee Mile.


The No. 98 team was found in violation of Sections 14.16.1 and 14.16.1.A&C of the NASCAR Rule Book, which deals with wheels and tires, and wheel assembly, specifically the valve stems. As a result, the organization and driver Ty Majeski were each docked 75 points and five playoff points in their respective standings. Crew chief Joe Shear Jr. was also fined $25,000 and suspended for the next four Craftsman Truck Series events, through Oct. 21 at Homestead-Miami Speedway — the next-to-last race of the season.

They should issue a penalty like this in the cup series. Maybe it woud make Burton STFU for a moment about every point matters.

Burton STFU about anything would be an improvement. The worst is when he talks like the driver and it comes off like he is in the backyard playing HotWheels. "You can't do that to me, so pass him back"
