Truck Series Final

Such a great finish! Does Kyle ever congratulate other drivers? He just had a heck of a battle and didn't even mention Cale Gale.
 
I didn't expect Kyle to say "I bumped him to break his momentum and he drove me to the wall". No rant or tantrum as the best we are going to get from him.

IF. This is nascar, and we just saw how these things sometimes go. Buescher was my pick at the start of the year, and he deserves this. If not for a DNQ, he would have been champ last year.

To quote Days of Thunder, "If NASCAR won't call it low down sh*t ass racing, I will". If anybody wasn't gonna make the turn it was Larson. That was bad and I like Turner Motorsports....Cale Gale made it all worth it though:D

Dillon did change lanes to block, but I think Larson should have yeilded to the leader there. The guy is running for a championship against your teammate, and wrecking him is bad for your career.

Wait, maybe he saw Jeff do it and figured it was OK? ;)

Since you're fingers are restless tonight why not type out the career stats of Cale and Kyle. Cale is actually older than Kyle.
Also, I believe it was tears in Cale's eyes tonight, not Kyle's.

The finish was very reminiscent of that race. This one's a keeper for sure. Congrat's to Gale.

I'm with Vadirt on the Dillon/Larson wreck. I, too, felt Dillon pinched down Larson a bit. But I'm not naive enough to understand that someone could see it a different way. Just like Matt2470 and I saw the Dale Jr/Jeff Gordon incident @ Michigan this year. We both saw the exact same thing but had two different perspectives. That's racing for you.

I looked up Kyle Larson's wiki just now to find out more about him and learned that he is of Japanese descent. Doesn't mean a damn thing to me 'cause the kid can wheel a racecar.
Just found it interesting.

Last night's finish was very reminiscent of the KuBu/Craven finish at Darlington. Same result, a Busch brother lost. Different outcome though, as Kurt actually went down and congratulated Craven.
 
That was Cale's last chance to get a win in that truck and get his name out there for next year, and he capitalized on it. Rubbing is racing.
 
Stock car racing at it's finest. If Kurt could get back to those days, he'd be a contender once again.
