they were in the middle of 3 and 4 and I said out loud "he can just run him into the wall and he'll win", which is what he did.
 
Yeah, dirt tracks take rubber eventually. I think it held up pretty well through most of the night. I've seen much worse.

I'm aware. Go to my share of Midwest dirt races. I've read NASCAR dictates the prep so not surprising.
 
They were side by side those whole last 2 laps, I forgot until Grant just mentioned it that those 2 are teammates.

Cool. I'm not much of a fan of Tony Stewart's much lauded track prep sometimes. Love what he's done for the sport, but Eldora can be nothing but a one lane black dust bowl at times. I'm sure NASCAR wants it on the dry slick side, and honestly those are the drivers' tracks anyway. There's a balance, and I think they did pretty well tonight.
