Trucks @ Kansas

Wow this race as been on for an hour and a half and they are just now completing 67 laps to make it a 100 to go. All them wrecks are beginning to catch up to time.

Anyone on here as old as me that remembers when Curtis Turner was the winner of a race...because he was the driving the only car still running?

Asheville-Weaverville, North Carolina track - September 30, 1956.

Weren't they taking tires off cars in the parking lots to put on the racecars to be able to try and finish the race?

it looked to me like those trucks had time to slow down before hitting blaney that hard, spotters had to be telling them what was going on. could be i'm just upset with all the wrecks going on.

Taking wreck-avoidance tips from the ARCA teams..

How is Hornaday 7th? Wasn't he like 6 laps down?

JWT oozing of raw skill tonight.

Is that a coulda-woulda-shoulda reply? :D

Not really.

I'm glad the faster car is up front and had time to catch the slower one. I just think its cheap for someone to sneak in and try to win with no tires or just 2 while the rest takes 4 and cant do anything with it.

Back in the day, changing tires meant something.

NASCAR won't let Kyle win this one without at least one phony CAUTION.

Jest watch....

OK, so I was wrong 'bout NASCAR, I was right about Kyle. Yeehaw!

Crafton should get a Nationwide ride. He's done well in all of his RCR starts in that series.
