So the #3 team gets a fine and suspension.. Harvick gets nothing.

I get it.. NASCAR only handed down penalties for the hammer thing. Still, Harvick turned hard left into Ty's truck under caution and then parked in his pit.. blocking him out. IMO that deserves AT LEAST probation.. which would be nothing anyway pretty much but he should not go unscathed like this.

Minimal he should be suspended from the truck series for x amount of races. Actually I think that would be a good way to punish cup drivers that do things like this in lower series.
 
I have zero tolerance for retaliation of any kind in the pits.

What about the guy that threw the hammer? I think he should be and they were right to suspend him. They fined the CC for it. Harvick should be on probation maybe no fine but no NNS or CWTS for the remainder of 2013. It'd barely be a slap on the wrist but to go 100% unscathed is absolute BS

Harvick has the same temperament as Kyle and Kurt. He just hides it better.

Get real man. This is the last sport where the "players" are allowed to have emotion and show it. If NASCAR wasnt a rough n tuff, hard nosed sport it would never gone mainstream. A fight made the sport what it is today and now you just wanna penalize it? Fines dont mean dick**** to the drivers anyway. What do you think Kevin?

The hammer would never have been thrown if Happy hadn't parked in Ty's pit. The hammer was a shot across the bow.

Ty did a Kyle Busch. Totally ran Harvick down under caution while going over the speed limit in which you must stay when the caution is out.

Also I never said it was a hard hit... I said he turned hard left.. which he obviously did. BEFORE Ty made any contact under caution. Quite a bit of damage to just be letting someone know ur not happy.

Hard left, hard hit, all the same in my book.

I still see that as Harvick showing his displeasure to Ty. I dont care if it was before all the contact was made after the caution. Guy got wrecked, guy goes to show his displeasure=all warranted.

No. Hard left is referring to a hard jerk to the left on the steering wheel. Not a hard hit. It was unnecessary to hit him so hard he could have rubbed doors to get the same message across. What Ty did was more warranted solely based on what Harvick did. Wrecking someone that is driving like an idiot during a race is not the same as getting revenge for it under caution. I said this from the get go... if Harvick could only have been able to drive faster than Ty.. there would have been no issue. There's a difference between showing your displeasure and wrecking a car.
 
Umm Harvick was in front of Ty when he got wrecked...on purpose. Or did you miss Ty's several attempts to wreck Harvick?
