Underrated - Back Scratchers. Can usually be found for under a $1 and provide some relief every single time. One of the best tools invented IMO.

Overrated - IPhones. Go Android. Save yourself some money and get way more for your $'s.

Backscratchers I have one by my bed, and one in the living room. And I swear, it's physically addicting. If I get up in the middle of the night for whatever reason, I cannot get back to sleep unless I scratch my back first.

Underrated: Saturday nights in the summer at your local short track. Cheaper than going to the movies but the memories are priceless and the night is unforgettable.

Overrated: Android phones.

Ok, I'm just going to say it, sex is overrated

Now, don't get me wrong. Sex is great, and in some cases can be fantastic and even mind blowing. However, it is rarely worth the price many pay for the pursuit of it, nor is it worthy of the importance many put on it. People like Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant are famous examples of this, but we all know many people in our own lives who have paid dearly for decisions made in the pursuit of sex. How many children grow up in broken homes because of cheating spouses getting caught? How many have died from AIDS or had their lives dramatically altered by hysterectomies or other complications from various STD's? Again, sex may be one of the greatest feelings in the world, but it's not worth breaking up a family, losing the ability to bear children, or even lose your life over it.

The tiger woods kind is overrated, but the good kind in a loving relationship (a good marriage) is about as good as it gets.

Okay. It looks like this thread is ready to go in a whole other direction than I had anticipated.

Underrated - humor.
Sorry to bring such heaviness there. I didn't plan on going that far when I started that, but it just kind of didn't make sense without expanding on it.

You are right though, humor is vastly underrated.

Exactly! Silent communication and reading each other's minds adds even more to the incomparable closeness of sharing yourself with the one you love.

Underrated: A tomato sandwich marinated in Dukes Mayonnaise and black pepper, with sweet tea on a hot summer day.

Underrated: 50 plus green laps on a half mile track were one car stalks another with a little rubbing. The cadence nose to tail, the synchronized timing of backing off the throttle in rhythm, then nailing it again off of the apex.
The lead car nailing the corners on the inside, because he knows it is over if he looses the line.
Working the traffic like a high speed chess game. Smelling the tires, the gas and feeling your body absorb the violence of their horsepower. Will he wear down the leader and exploit a forced mistake, or is the leader tough enough to remain, even if forced to driver harder than he would have. You dont even have to have a change of position or pass during the entire sequence, the suspense alone satisfies.

Thats the real stuff, that a fast talking overrated Eddie Gossage PR apparatus will never equal.
I am probably a little smug maybe arrogant, but I wonder if folks wanting (overrated stuff) phantom cautions really are able to grasp the art of good racing. And I would add GWCheckers to the category as well, and bump and runs.

Rubbing is racing but I am thinking of two drivers getting the maximum out of their cars, man and machine stretched to the limits. That doesn't include rooting a driver out of the way or making him a shock absorber for your dive bomb.

I thought a lot about how Gordon chased Johnson down at Martinsville in 2012 (the infamous Bowyer/Gordon exchange not wanting to go there).
But the way Gordon worked Johnson over and wore him down was a thing of beauty. It is a little disappointing that we didnt celebrate that dual, in spite of how things ended
The best racing isnt what the ****heads talk about most.

Underrated: Deep Album/CD cuts.

Overrated: 90 percent of what's on the radio.

Sweet tea is underrated here north above the Mason-Dixon line.

Of course, here in the north, we expect all iced tea to be sweetened so making a trip south and ordering ice tea and getting unsweetened ice tea is quite a shock the first time. :bleh:

This may sound a bit weird but...Awhile back I was at the Krogers and was looking for a new broom for the patio. I saw that they had a toilet bowl brush with an extra long handle...I thought Hmmm? Best back scratcher EVER!

I'm careful that I don't use it for anything else though :XXROFL:

Underrated: The Blue Oyster Cult album "Imaginos." Really, it's almost "Barely Oyster Cult" with a lot of guest musicians, and it was kind of forced album meant to basically meet contractual obligations. The songs were all Albert Bouchard written songs over the years as a concept, and are somewhat out of the orignal order of the concept, but it is a really good album. And it's very very obscure. I bought it when it came out, and is very hard to find since it was taken out of print years ago.

Overrated: Kiss. Gene Simmons is a douche, doesn't care about the band, the fans, the history, the legacy, the history, or the music. All he and Paul Stanley care about is the Kiss business model.

Agree about Kiss

No Ace Frehley equals no Kiss.

Underrated: street stock classes where everybody builds their own stuff.

Overrated: crate late-model classes where everybody just buys their stuff.

Underrated - The previously undiscovered stash of 'Drink Chips' for the local tavern. A great way to have started a Friday night and a true measure of friendship.

Overrated - Cashing in all of those same chips and having to get up early on a Saturday. :( #NeedMoreSleep

Underrated: High heels on a woman

Overrated: Conversation

Underrated: I bought my wife an Apple iphone, now she can text too and talk less :).

I agree with the iphones! I've not once come across someone with an iphone that DIDN'T have a cracked screen.
