A romantic candlelit dinner is almost a Valentine's Day staple -- and it normally costs you an arm and a leg.
Luckily for bargain-hunters and hipsters, Waffle House is filling the void. 40 locations across the nation (including three in North Texas) will offer white tablecloths, soft mood music, and candles while diners chow down on their scattered and topped hash browns.
Like any Valentine's Day dinner, reservations are recommended as not all the booths will be gussied up for romance. Price and menu will stay the same, even for those couples looking for Cupid.
While looking at Waffle House's website for more info, we stumbled across where you can listen to (and even buy) the Waffle House inspired songs that hang out in their jukebox. We recommend playing a few during the V-day dinner to get your special someone in the mood for eggs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA:XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL:

A. It's a good thing there is no Waffle House here
B. Neither one of us like WH anyway.

ROTFLMAO

The one around the corner from my house is on the list of the North Texas ones.Should be real quiet there since it's on the service road for I-20.

If my guy really cared about me, he'd cook dinner at home and provide the wine. If the food was good.......I'd provide the dessert;):growl:

GF and I's 1-year is this friday, so we're going to the dallas zoo/aquarium\place\thingy and then to some popular pizza place.

V-day is my chore to plan and I have an empty canvas. Thinking dinner at a fancy italian restaurant her parents took us to once. Just have to remember where the hell it is.

Got her this. She's a cat person. Although she's already said we cant have more than 5 cats if we move in together (we have 5 here right now, one is mine, and she has one at her moms)

I have to ship my fiance her stuff, the issues of long distance relationships.

Sounds like a grand idea. Gonna grill fillets for the wife and she'll supple the wine. Dessert we can do without. :)

It's yet another high school basketball night for my wife & I. Probably a hot dog at the concession stand under the glow of the fluorescent lighting of the school cafeteria.

No plans here ... hubs has to work. Will settle for Candy and a Card ... I can fix my own supper! :D

That is pretty ... she will love that!

I'm working on something. I did tell the girlfriend about the waffle house idea since one is within 20 miles of me. But that got shot down pretty fast. So back to the drawing boards

Don't have a significant other, so it'll just be another day for me. Even if I did have someone, I still wouldn't celebrate the day. Mainly because I believe that you should show your...affection and feelings for your significant other throughout the year instead of just one day a year.

If any S.O. that I may have doesn't understand that, then, F&#k them.

Great attitude:rolleyes: Maybe that's why you are single

I'm eating a large, tender, juicy sirloin steak, marinaded in Yuengling, Old Bay and Montreal seasoning.

That's how I'm spending today... not letting the bull**** and negatives get me down.

No plans here, I worked from 8 pm until 8 in the morning, then I will return to work at 6 pm the same day.

Thursday and Friday night it is 12 hours each.

Last night I stopped at the grocery store and bought her tulips and a stuffed anaimal. We tool half of the tulips to moms house before I came to work.
And thats all.

No time with Brandon yesterday was tough, he is having a Valentines party tommorow or wednesday he calls it heart day and l will have to miss out.

Saturday is make a day, lots of good times with Brandon and a date night with the wife on Saturday or Sunday.

Not sure of my full plan yet, but it will be fun.
