Vintage Automobile Jack

I was working at a residence today and noticed an old jack on this customer’s porch. I asked him what it was from, he said he didn’t really know. Asked me if I wanted it…
I’m thinking it’s from the 20s or 30s.

My Daddy had 2 of these when I was a youg-un, I am 69 now and they were old then, but, he used them all the time, worked great. Nice find.

I can’t find too much info on this jack. It is antique and very similar to a Model T jack. It is stamped No. 18 and SJ625
I have found some on eBay listed as auto, tractor and barn jacks.
I’m guessing they were probably just a universal jack. Not worth a whole lot but definitely very cool

Yes, works perfectly. I’m going to make a handle out of an old pipe wrench for it this weekend.
I scrubbed it down this morning with a small wire brush and some oil.

It just might be. I really can’t find a lot of info on it.
I made a handle for it. I just gotta leave it out on on the grass for a month.
