Waht is Microsoft Edge used for?

Got an update and this was loaded. Have no idea what it is for.

yep, it's microsoft's way to replace internet explorer. It's built into Win10, and apparently, they just forced it onto Win7 machines as dad's got it too.

Also, I hate that horrid "e" logo.

It's been a long time since I've given Firefox a spin. It's just easier to be on Chrome if you're in the Google ecosystem with an Android phone and so on.

My Windows 10 machine got hit with the annoying Edge update prominently advertising itself the other day.

My main problem with Chrome is that it's become so bloated, and it really likes to eat your RAM.

I have used Mozilla Fire Fox for several years now and really like it.
