I just found out there's another son named Kerry???

I thought it was just Kelley and Jr!

That race weekend was also the return of Ernie Irvine who had a devastating crash there a year or so earlier. He suffered the same fate that weekend there in practice.

I gather you are not very old or have not been a fan that long. Kerry appeared in over 100 Nascar sanctioned races and would you believe there is another Earnhardt daughter (Taylor) too?
 
Junior's sister Kelley was a pretty fair racer too , but she had no shot (being a girl) . Turns out , she has more brains than anyone else in the family and has built a top notch racing company with Junior.

I'm all of 20 years old and I haven't seen a race since my freshman (a long story as to why)

Sorry that I didn't know. I will ask TRL to delete.

There's no need to do that..... I am 60 years old and have been following Nascar since 1964...... I learn something every day that I didn't know. You can only learn by asking questions.

There is nothing wrong with this thread. It does not need to be deleted. Sometimes these guys forget that not everyone who comes here is a grizzled old veteran. Keep asking questions, we need younger folks like you in this sport. For 20, you seem to have a damned good knowledge base.

It doesn't matter if you've been here a month, a year or 10. Some people will always get on your case.

Also, Kerry sucks. The talent pool skipped him in the Earnhardt lineage.

:DAnd let's try to keep them around. We need some new blood here. Give them a chance and don't rail on them for every little thing. Some of you old guys are getting to predictable.
 
Kerry was adoped by his step daddy an used his name until he became an adult.Seeing the advantage of being an
Earnhardt he changed his name.
