War coverage and Bristol

I got this off of thatsracing.com. I figures it would help everyone on Sunday when they put there TVs on FOX and see war coverage instead of the race.

Fox Sports has a backup plan in place in case coverage of the war in Iraq pre-empts coverage of Sunday's Food City 500. The race would be seen on FX cable. The decision may come at the last minute, so fans should check Fox affiliates first at 12:30 p.m. Sunday when race coverage is scheduled to begin.

Anyone here not get FX? I know last year alot of people did not but there has not ben much complaining abotu it this year so WHo here does nto have FX?

I Do

What! You don't like M.A.S.H. reruns?
I just hope they din't start the race on FOX and keep interupting it.

Today (Sat.) I tape Eastenders on BBC Americ whil I'm at dialysis. I got home nd rwinded the tap and The damn war wa on! Iwent to the BBC America sit to see if they were going to how it later and found hey started it 20 min. late. So far this week I have missed the last 20 min. of Law & Order and er because of war coverage. What the hell are the news channels for?

I have FX...and NASCAR is all that it's good for.  :D
Thats true! :) [/b][/quote]
I'll third that.

Hey, FX has all those great shows with words like wildest, police, animals, attacking. And people doing dumb or stupid things in their offices or homes or in public

Okay, so Nascar is pretty much the only thing on FX.

I have FX,also have Speed Channel,IMO,that's the main channel that a lot of fans don't get currently!

I just switched from dish network to drect tv. When I signed up with each of them the first thing I told them was I need FX, TNT, and Fox Sports Ohio. FX and TNT for race coverage and all of the Cleveland Indians games went from free TV to FSO. The Indians aren't much to watch anymore, but it is still nice to kick back with an iced tea on a hot summer night and watch an Indians game and fall asleep in the recliner.

A small town about an hour south of Toledo.
Goodyear almost transferred me to Lodi a few months ago. Probably pretty close to you I would imagine.

Lodi is more East than where I live. Ar eyou familiar with Findlay? It is where Cooper Tires head quaters is.

Yeah, I am. My sister used to live in Findlay and teach school there several years ago. I was there quite a few times. Really nice place.

I live about 5 miles outside of town. I like it hear. What grade did your sister teacher?

Well I barely get FX. I am supposed to but that is our only channel that is really snowy. Also I don't really think that it is right for them to show war footage ontop of the race. If you were one of the people that flipped around when they switched today, I bet you noticed that at least five or six other channels had it on as well. I think we missed a caution and pitstops for their 2 minute war briefing that including no news of which was new to anybody.
