Good band. One of the few contemporary groups that has a clue. Kenny Wayne Shepherd, despite being something of a SRV clone, is also awesome. Add Creed, Metallica, Sheryl Crow, and W.A.S.P. (believe it or not, they are still around), and that's about it for what I can stomach out of contemporary artists.
And before I get jumped, I am a proud W.A.S.P. fan. More gimmicks than any band in history, but Blackie Lawless is an astounding songwriter when he wants to be, and possesses one of the more unique voices I have ever heard. I became a fan with the debut album in 1984, and I think I have everything they ever released save one CD. Even have some import stuff.
