Was Kyle trying to wreck Brad?

No ...... he was not trying to wreck Brad .. he had cold tires and experienced some difficulty keeping the car low in all the traffic

Better to wreck him in Phoenix, don't you think?

No, he wasn't.

IMO, he's focused on the big prize and trying not to do anything stupid to lessen his chances.

Pointlessly taking out your #1 enemy is beyond stupid.

I am surprised more wrecks don't happen on starts and restarts. If somebody and it only take one, gets out of sync everything goes crazy. It ripples all the way back through the field.
Going into turn one on the restarts was about the only thing that ever worried me.

brad,kyle,denny,kevin wont be around 4ever.

No, I don't get the sense he was trying to wreck him on purpose. To me it looks like Kyle just got loose under him which slid him up the track and into Brad.

douche eyes?

It took me 8 seconds to find the answer to your question.

*Busch started the race fifth but had issues on the very first lap, as a right-rear tire had a puncture in it, sending him up the track and into the car of Brad Keselowski.

"“It was a long day for sure. We got behind from the very beginning. I felt the tire going down taking the green, and we got some damage and got behind having to pit. The guys stayed focused, and we clawed our way back on the lead lap."

I'd say that there's an effort to place Erik Jones directly into that roll.

He doesn't have the pedigree and he's with JGR. I can't imagine a better scapegoat for when 'my driver' doesn't win.

If you are driving a JGR car, racing Brad hard and rough is the way to go at Phoenix. They need him to have a bad race in order to get Hamlin in.

As the #22 can do to #11, #24 and #48.

Ryan has the pole and the better car and Brad has a points margin, who makes the final four??

Keselowski claims to not be that good at Phoenix (although I think he has a win there) but he is good in clutch situations - one the best.

Blaney is untested and therefore unproven. That'll change tomorrow.

Don't count out Hambone as far as points go and either of the HMS cars can pull off a win as well.

Should be one helluva race, IMO.

If he was that would be very stupid on Kyle's part.

I think he was trying to keep him out of the chase. He got loose under Brad and never turned left and barely lifted and stayed on Brad until he flattened is tire. Every driver, especially Kyle, know what those side pipes do to tires. But brad is a wuss who never retaliates. After todays race I became a big Chase Elliott fan. Denny ran him over and kept him out of the chase, and the 24 returned the favor without going all Carl Edwards on him. The crowd is behind Chase, so Denny had to take it, and I doubt he ever races Chase like that again.

Brad never retaliates? Lol...Kyle would say otherwise...has even added to the true total. Brad will find a way to do it under the radar, kinda like Kyle may have done this time.

I can't think of a single time Brad intentionally 'wrecked' someone in cup (like Chase and Denny did, or Kurt did to JG, or Kyle did to MANY cup and truck drivers, or Kenseth did to Logano). Not during all the Carl Edwards psycho crap, Kyle messing up on pit road and gunning it and tearing up Brads front end, Kasey and JJ using him up at Indy. When he was in the NW series, it was Dale Jr who got on the radio and told him he better give Denny some of what he was giving Brad. Chase doing the 8 tire run to the wall on Denny was perfect and balanced retaliation. I loved it.

You said retaliate, not full on wreck someone. Brad is smart. Keeps his cool, like Chase did yesterday. Chase didn't wreck Denny, Denny did it to himself riding around on a tire getting a hole worn into it. And that is why Kyle whines about him and says he owes Brad so much. Brad may not get him immediately but he gets him. Like not lifting in that Xfinity race and turning KB when he slid up across his nose. **** you KB....oops, sorry.
