What'cha got going?
Sept 1st was the opening of oyster season here. My son and his friends got a bunch of them. Had some on the half shell last night and also made a stew.
60 and raining so burgers and dogs today. Plan is to put a butt in the smoker tomorrow

Took the smoker to camp this past weekend. We cooked up 6 racks of ribs along with 3 whole chickens. We eat like kings/queens @ camp. Some of the other menu items this weekend were stuffed hot peppers, taco spaghetti, kielbasi, hot sausage, meatball hoagies, hamburgers/hot dogs and way too many desert items to list. There were about 20 of us there for the Fri-Mon extended weekend.
 
Best compliment ever was the twins telling me I'm a good cook with the remains of pulled pork sammiches smeared on the faces, ''more pleez''. They have decided that they also like oyster 'soup'.

btw used a bone in Boston butt and IMO it cooked faster and again IMO tasted better than the ones sold bone out.
