Bow, ya ain't gonna win this one..........Jr fans never win. :) Someone once called us all pom pom wavers. He's gone, but there are still true belivers among the herd. :D Man, I'd love to see Jr win the Title this year.......just to hear all protests, name calling, whining, and outragous conspiracies conjured up by the flock. :XXROFL:
i hear ya. i just hope if jr wins, it will be by at least 61 points over gordon so he will have won by the old system too, just to put critics to rest.

U can guarandamtee if Kasey retaliates and makes it obvious NASCAR might just set him out the rest of the race.
Yeah, if anybody gets into Jr they'll sit 'em out the rest of the race. [/b][/quote]
I see nothing has changed over hear <_<

And If he does win it I'm gonna just sit back read all the posts and laugh my ass off. :XXROFL:
GO JR!!!

Well, I am NOT one of them "conspiracy" whiners.
But, all the same, although I like Jooooonyer, he is certainly NOT
one of my favs. I have to hope he doesn't even come close
It would suit me just fine to see Jeremy do it!!

As much as I would really love for Jeff Gordon to get
another Championship, I just feel there are other drivers that have worked
as hard all year.
I don't like this C4C, and I won't deny that.
Just feel that NASCAR has created a "monster" and the drivers
were NOT all to blame for that race and it's "incidents".
JMHO (again)

Steve, Junion is not one of my favorites, and I sure would love to see Jeff Gordon get his 5th Championship! However, Junior does win it, I'll be among the first to congratulate him.

Just a 10% chance........sort of like all the others!! :D

Editing to say:

Not all the others..........just the 9 others!! :XXROFL:

I still believe Kasey should be in the Chase, no doubt about it. He deserves it more than some of the others in the top 10.

How do you figure that? He is 11th in points, he doesn't deserve it more than the top 10.

I agree. I do not like the new system but Kahne has no more right than any of the others to be in the playoff.

Dont worry slick-nick I got your back and agree with you 100%! ;)

Maybe because hes a better driver then some of the top 10 drivers? But because of 1 race is now held back the last 10 races with other drivers that could of had a chance at the top 10 by the end of the year. But because of the new point system wont now.

Tell me who he is better than in the top 10.

He had 26 races just like the other 43 drivers and he did not make the top 10, he doesn't deserve to race for the championship this year.

Let me say this if you had to pick for 1 million dollars mayfield or kahne for the next 10 races who would you pick will have the best finishs?

Dont say its doesnt matter now he didnt make the top 10, just give me a honest answer do you think Kasey will do better then any of the top 10 drivers the next 10 races? Simple YES or NO answer. Then we will wait and see.

I can live with no, but feel he will do better then a few of the top 10 drivers thats all. BTW just curious whos your favorite driver?

Kahne is not in the top 10 because of one race. He is not there because of 26 races. Every driver had the same opportunity to make the top 10 in the first 26 races. To say that he is a better driver is just an opinion and would be agressively debated by fans of other drivers. There were plenty of races where Kahne drove like a rookie and made mistakes that veteran drivers do not make. I am not bashing Kahne just stating that he had the same chance as all of the drivers.

yes, I do think Kahne will run better than some of the top 10 drivers, but he didn't the first 26 races, Obviously there were 10 drivers than ran better than he did the first 26. He does not deverve to be there over someone else, every team works hard and they all deserve to be there. Mcmurray deserves to be there, but he isn't, Dale Jarrett deserves to be there, but he isn't.

My favorite drivers, mmmmmm, lets see................

Bobby Labonte
Terry Labonte
Jr.
Mike Waltrip
Tony Stewart
Jeff Burton
Jamie McMurray
Harvick
Joe Nemecheck

That is most of them in no certain order.

The point is the chase for the playoff is OVER. To say that a driver out of the top 10 will do better than one in the top 10 is like saying that one of the drivers will win more races NEXT YEAR. The field has been set with everyone playing under the same rules, whether we like the rules or not.

To say that he is a better driver is just an opinion
Thats all I was saying dude, you have yours I have mine.

yes, I do think Kahne will run better than some of the top 10 drivers, but he didn't the first 26 races

Thats all I wanted to here, but your right it only mattered the first 26 races by nascar rules. Who knows he could bomb the last 10 races. :) But I hope not!

Its all good!

Just because he may run better in the final 10 races does that mean he deserves to be there ahead of someone else?

Who you calling dude. :p I'm too darned old to be a dude. :) You are right though, it is all good...except for the new system. :)

muggle not

I agree about the new point system. I guess it depends on how you look at it.
Oh and sorry about the dude thing. :)

If I've read all of this correctly some of you think that it is not fair that KK is excluded from the Chase. That the 26 races may not accurately reflect his driving acumen. That he very well could do better over the last 10 than some in the Chase. Others are saying similar about Jamie and DJ. Well, the fix is easy. Why not let all of the drivers race for points all 36 races and the one with the most points wins the Championship? Wait, didn't we just scrap that system for this one that is supposed to be an improvement. Now y'all have done got me confused. I need to go lie down with a cold cloth on my head...

Well I'm going to enjoy the next 10 races..........even if Jr falls flat on his face!! The reason.........simple. I have no idea who among the 10 drivers in the Chase will win the title!! It does escape me as to why so many are ready to call it a season just because their guy didn't make the cut..........but, I can live with it since the races will still be run and televised and I can watch and get excited by whoever wins or loses! One hell of a lot better than last year at this time when it was pretty much locked up as to who was going to win. And, if memory serves, I think the only driver to enter the top ten with 10 races to go was Ryan Newman. Everything else was pretty much like it is now.........the top 10 remained the top 10 until the Homestead checkered flag. All the jockying of postitions were 2nd through 10th.....among the top 10. The new system puts the 1st place driver in the mix too............and I can't imagine why people don't like that.

And 11th place earns a cool million..........that ain't chump change, ya know!! :D

Good one    I do think NASCAR will at least edit this new points system, but wish They would scrap it.

As far as calling it a season if Ur fave driver(s) are out of the Top 10,I could see where that could happen,if My fave driver didn't make the Top 10 I would probably quit watching as there are no Title hopes left alive for that season.Of course My fave driver's finished in the Top 10 eavery year, but His rookie season. :D  B)

I could sure use a million! as could most of us!

I'm sure not gonna change my mind about this new points system anytime soon, and as they say in Red Sox territory, wait till next year.

If my favorite driver was that far back with ten races to go and I was expection him to win the cup, I was simply kidding myself.

Did anyone watch "dancin France" on Wind Tunnel this week?????

The only things he said that weren't clear as mud, were that
he is gonna imortalize the top ten all over the telly and media blitz will look like a snow storm in Billings!!!!!

Just making all the ten look like him puppets is all they are doing.

Gotta go!!! Wind Bag is on again. LOL
