There's a guy with one at a local airport. He loves to fly over the lakes, so he's over my house frequently. Love that sound.

I just finished a model of the P-51 and currently building a B-24J Mitchell bomber..
They have these planes once a year at the Venice, FL, airport, usually in February. They sell flights in both aircraft. Somewhere in the range of $2500.00 in the P-51 and $25.00 in the bomber where they take I believe ten passengers. I stood and listened to them the day I went to see them and they are really something else.Very intimidating sound from both.


If anyone has Netflix, there is a documentary on an Englishman who rebuilt a WWII fighter and it is very interesting. I'll try to find it to post if anyone is interested.
