Here's the first thing I opened from my wife...

This is the best picture I could find of it on the net. The detail on the eagle in the real thing is phenominal. :)

I also got a pretty cool nascar game for my PS2. It is called "Dirt to Daytona".

What a thoughtful, loving wife you have!

That's a great gift 4X.
What I get is not important to me as long as I can watch my daughter open her gifts I am happy.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Dee

That's a really cool picture. Would look better on my Silverado.

My kids are very happy with the few gifts we let them open tonight. We will open most of our gifts tomorrow. But, my son was ecstatic about his personal cd player we gave him. My daughters loved their gifts as well.

I just sent TayAnn to bed and now I get to play Santa(even though Tay no longer believes)!! I love this part of Christmas.

Cameron and Lindsey just went to bed and I can't wait to set up the surprises!!! I still do stockings for them and the hubby! I love this time of the night!

My wife is wrapping presents with her sister right now and will be for quite some time tonight. I've tried helping in the past, but it doesn't work so well. They make a pretty good team on this stuff. I just hate having to wait until she is done so we can get some, uh...sleep. ^_^

I just got done with Santa myself, my two oldest daughters know but my youngest can't wait til daylight, deep down inside neither can I.

My kids favorites were

My son...

Vertigo...a remote controled vehicle that flips and drives over just about anything

Oldest daughter...

Go-Go My Walking Pup...a large puppy that comes when you call it

Youngest daughter...

Baby Annabelle...A baby that drinks, talks, cries, etc.

All in all they all loved what they got. What a great feeling

My baby girl's favorite: the wet/dry shaver, she has been bugging to start shaving for about a year now. I finally gave in. She also liked her Bob Mackie and Grease Collector Barbies and her Dirty Dancing movie.

My favorite, Sweet Home Alabama movie and Tay made me a plate at school.

Gollum done ok. Got a number of LOTR stuff. ( no dout) Dale Earnhardt radio controll car. ( which I will put in my DE colection) , and some MONEY.

Guido, that has to be so exciting. There couldn't be a better gift than a baby!
We'll just start calling you Pappy. :p

What an exciting present, Guido. :)

I got a new toaster --- doesn't sound exciting, but the old one wasn't very reliable. You were never sure if you would get burnt bread, or just warmed. LOL

Pretty good, huh?

You get a toaster and my girl has one in the oven.

I'm pretty excited about all of this. Just hope that I am not on the road in August when the baby arrives. Would like to see my daughter and grandchild at the hospital.

I do, and that was well before Willie Nelson organised "Farm Aid".

yep when I saw my dad die in 72 with a Wife and 5 kids and 35 cents in his pocket. Gollum desided he wasn't gonna do that for a living. That's not a living it's just surviving :(

Surviving is important, and I bet your dad worked himself to death to take care of the family. He (and your Mom) gave you some great memories and values which you will have forever!

Your right he had a heart attack sitting on a tractor trying to plant cotton. Oh I have got great memories on growing up the son of a sharecropper's But like in the words of a song Dolly put one time No amount of money can buy those memories from me. But I would not want to go back and live through them again.
