As for me, I drive a 2004 Dodge Stratus R/T, my little hot rod. The wife drives a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee which we are about ready to unload, probably for a new Honda CR/V.

I drive a crappy 1996 Ford Taurus and/or a 1999 Sport Dodge Grand Caravan. (Idiotic spoiler on the top of the van.. LOL.. yeah it looks so racy!!! heh heh) We'd like to dump one of them for a compact with a stick for better gas milage and to get ourselves into this century. It's just they're all paid for and we still have college loans and crap we're paying off. Blech.

2003 Saturn Vue

Wife has an '06 Dodge Grand Caravan.
Anyone want to buy it??

1995 Nissan 240sx for me and 1995 Mazda Protagez automatic for my one legged hubby.

I love my Saturn. I've had absolutely no problems with it. Course I only have less than 39000 miles on it. It fits me well and it is comfortable to drive.
The AC is a little weak but most SUVs are since they have to cool a larger area. I got the 6 cyl for a little more power than the 4.
I usually drive when we go to lunch and I fit 5 of us comfortably. The new Vues are just a little bit smaller.
The Green Vue doesn't get enough of a difference in MPG to justify its cost IMO.

'91 Mitusbishi Mirage. The missus has a '05 Malibu ... and my project truck is a '91 Sonoma. (coming along nicely, I might add)

Yeah, I keep my cars until there's nothing left.

Hey Prof, did you ever have one of those Mercury pick 'em up trucks? I remember way back in the day when I used to travel up to north of the border and could see those trucks. When I would go back to Oklahoma and tell kids that I saw a Mercury pickup, they would laugh at me and tell me they didn't make such a thing.

Of course, people here probably don't believe they make Ford Falcons still down in Aussie land. :)

here's a pic of my civlian tank When we pulled the transmision out of it this summer

Daily driver is a 1963 Ford F100 Unibody Pick up...haven't had a car payment for over 25 years.
Also have a 1972 Ford F100 Short bed that I'm restoring, a 1967 Fastback Mustang 390, 4-speed (had it since high school.) And a multi-year Harley-Davidson with an 88" Evolution engine.

:D

We were in the market for a new Acura TL but have lost too much money recently in the stock market. The stock market is going 'Down" as fast as free beer.

2002 toyota echo (my wifes car 45 - 48 MPG)
2001 Chevy Z71

I'm not sure how to post pics.
I can tell you about the truck, though.
The bed is one-piece with the cab. They were produced as an optional vehicle from '61-'63. Non-attached bed pick-ups were also available for those years. barelypure posted a picture of what my is supposed to look like. Mine is several colors right now; I'm in the process of putting it back straight after some furball hacked a left in front of me, (his car left dead on a flatbed, I drove mine home). Right now it has a 390 engine and a C6 trans. I'm building a 521" stroker engine for it.
Oh yeah, I paid $50 for it in 1983, running. :D

My 2000 Dodge Caravan EV by Braun. My mother, who lives with us, is wheelchair bound, so we bought this cool van.

So if you fix it up $50 could fetch you $20K or so. Not a bad investment.

We just tonight traded in the 2001 Jeep for a 2004 Buick Rendezvous. You might wonder why, but to tell the truth, the Jeep has a very slow leak at the water pump and the engine was developing a bit of oil presure problems. Our mechanic told us that the car was very tradable now, but didn't know how long it would be. We actually got more for it from Carmax than we figured using blue book figures. So now we have a couple of '04 vehicles in the garage.
