What I Learned From The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rule Book

They didn't invite us? WTH!
Somehow they don't find us as important as we find ourselves.

They are getting ready to take calls now that Jeff has finished up his interview. They talked to him exclusively about this subject. I'm waiting to hear the public outrage on the channel about the release of this information.

So far no calls for or against the article or the release of some of the rule books contents. If you'd like to be the first to chime in and get something started on there, call 1-866-PIT-LANE. For some of those of you from New York, that's 1-866-748-5263.

Exactly. Some people are either unwilling or unable to grasp this exceedingly simple concept.

Some people understand that no matter what they want, he's going to write what he wants to write. We don't have any control over him.

My Two Cents
I really don't care that it was published but "NASCAR MIGHT"
If Nascar wanted ppl to have the rule book they would sell them.
Putting this chit out for the public only gets in Nascar's way it gives the general public another reason to bitch because they can't read.
And if u look at the books on ebay none of them are real current except a 2012 wiring that probably has nothing to do with other rules.

I just don't understand why anyone has a problem with publishing the rules, other than NASCAR.

Perhaps they're embarassed that the Camry is the only 'legal' car on the track.

I don't see the big deal about the rule book controversy? There availible you can get them, 80% of whats in them hasn't changed in years and whats left is to technical for most to understand.
I'd guess the biggest reason NASCAR dosent sell them is because their in the racing business not the publishing business.

I've gathered that the issue is not only the releasing of the book but also the scrutinization of rules...something France has zero control over and that, I'll wager, burns.

I can clarify this one for him because I graduated the third grade!

PAGE 49Did you know? Section 20-1.3 says each car model used in NASCAR must be "American-made." I never knew that. The full rule says: "NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races are open to eligible 2012 models of American-made steel bodied passenger car production sedans."
You're probably asking yourself: What about Toyota? Well, the Camry is made in Kentucky, so maybe that's how it works. But Ford Fusions are made in Mexico and Dodge Chargers are made in Canada, so this is certainly a confusing rule.

If you do your research and study the globe you'll find that Not only is Mexico in America but so is Canada  Imagine that the U.S.A. is not the only country in America!!!

Please don't tell me I need to find a link to verify this for you.
