What is NASCAR CONTENDERS LIVE.

I'v got direct tv and it comes on at 7 central time tonight.

It's fun watching you guys agonize over this. Now ther are 4 options as far as time and day.

It'd be nice if I could watch it. Charter Cable just removed the Speed channel from their basic lineup for TV's without the box last month. :windows:

Directv lied. They listed the pretenders live to repeat @11 pm tonight, so their habitual liars to boot. Then Pinks comes on 11 pm, and no it isn't what your expecting to see from a program called pinks on your late night satellite tv.
I can only shake my frustrated fist, a day that will live in infamy forever.

I wish there were a place online that we could watch this in its entirety. I got to see portions of it yesterday during the web broadcast. SpeedTV will be showing us a heavily edited version since they've only allotted and hour for the broadcast. It was an hour of uninterrupted broadcast online yesterday. By the time the they put in the commercials, we'll only be seeing about 2/3's of the actual program. That sucks, because it was pretty good.

I hope that you're not considering taking some Speed editor hostage or anything like that

Just heard on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio that the guides for the various satellite providers were/are simply incorrect. Like the first post says in this thread, Speed is to air this tonight @ 7pm et. Tune in or set your DVR/Hopper for that time regardless of what the guides reporting.

Most programming providers get their guide info from a third party. Sometimes they just get it wrong.

My wife and I finally had a chance to watch the SpeedTV version of this event, only after scheduling it to record on three separate occasions, but that's another story..... Thanks DirecTV guide. I've got to say that the television viewer was definitely short changed. I had a chance to watch the original, commercial free, internet broadcast of this event in part and it was a much better show than the heavily edited version that most got to see on SpeedTV. I told my wife about the internet broadcast and we finally sat down to watch it last night. While is was good I couldn't help but be disappointed. Much of it was edited out and the television viewing audience only got to see a part of the responses from the drivers. Instead we were treated to endless video's of past races leading in and out of a small part of the Q&A session. It's too bad that NASCAR couldn't have made this available somewhere on the net as an on demand video. :(

I got disconnected and missed the last 10 minutes of the webcast, so I figured I would catch the end of the speed broadcast. What I got was those annoying reruns. Speed sure ruined what was a great show.
