What it takes to be a Champion

Hamlin finished 37th, 8 laps down at Hew Hampshire. Surely that's considered a bad race by anyone's standards.

And he's your 2014 champion, which I am 100% cool with.

Then dont have a bad race lol

See, this is where Nascar is different than any stick and ball sport. In stick and ball sports, when the other team screws up, most likely it doesn't effect you, in racing, when another team screws up and wrecks, and you get caught up in it, you're in trouble.

That's one of the main reasons why a "playoff" in this sport is a complete joke.

I don't think it is funny, nor is the comparison to stick n ball valid IMO. This format is what it is, and for the people who don't like it, there are plenty of other forms of motorsports out there to watch. If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen. cars get taken out in wrecks all the time, they blow up, break, pit crews screw up.. things have gotten so professional, and sterile in the racing world, that recent fans don't have a clue what got racing to this point, they think it is a video game.

Nascar's tv ratings and race attendance sort of shows that people have left the sport because of the chase.

That's actually not a good thing for Nascar.

same ol blah blah blah. The ratings over the years have gone up and down, predicting the demise of Nascar is an exercise in futility. Most of them around here have only been watching for a short while, and think the ratings are comparable to crappy sit coms that disappear like a fart in a whirlwind. Nascar has been expanding in other countries of the world with increased TV coverage, they have a South American series, a European series, bought out the current IMSA series recently. The crepe hangers don't have a leg to stand on, but they think they do, and to them that is all that matters.

My 2015 BOLD prediction is going to be that each of the 10 races that make up the Chase will see an increase in ratings over the 2014 season.

Bla bla bla... imo this is not at all a reasonable argument lol

What?

How is that even an argument? lol

Its just to point out how amped up and happy you are now that Logano is having his best year and this particular chase has worked out for him.

That cab al change and he can go back to his struggling ways.

Well I really butchered this line. Thanks phone.

With the car config drastically changing again next year & supposedly erring On the side of loose handling, every thing will change. Drivers at the top this year may struggle next year vica versa.

Im just tired of saying the same things over and over and over....and over....... and over...............and...over

Too bad for some people that isn't an issue ;)
So being tired of repeating yourself is an excuse to belittle someone else's opinion?

We'd probably go on forever on this subject - so lets just agree to disagree and move away from the venom and move on to the subject at hand, shall we?
