And could it be done in a NASCAR vehicle?

Didnt Dale SR drive it one time?

How are we defining 'handle'? Most of them, given a suitable car and some practice, can probably turn laps within 90% of the average speed in a couple of hours.

I pulled those numbers out my ear but there are no stats or evidence to support any others

Hasn't this season started YET?

JR used to joke that he drove Sonoma for several years before he realized it was paved....

At what level? Could they lap it without binning it like one of the local yokels? Yeah.

can you imagine boris said on the 'ring?

I'd think 95% of the curreent national series drivers could compete for wins in a GT3 car.
Interesting...I think most of them would struggle to be competitive there in a VLN race or especially the 24h. Kyle Busch did reasonably well at Daytona in a GT3 but was outspoken about how uncomfortable it was and the traits he had to learn and unlearn, and he was there to be a #2 driver. Go from Daytona, where it’s mostly on-throttle to the Nordschleife and I think it’d be an awfully big adjustment.
