What was Jr. thinking???????

Mark has whined more in 15years, then all the chevy boys have in over 50.

I am a dirt track racer, and here, you have to work around lap cars, they dont just move over 4 you, in some kind of dream world.

Dude, i have known Ferg for around 3 or so years now, He is one of the 1st ppl i became friends with on here. I have leared, dont add fuel to the fire, cause u will get burned. ;)
 
How do you know how I was being? The same way you know about everything else I guess.....go ask you mommy for some milk and take a nap. Maybe you'll come to your senses then.
 
He was two laps down and as made obvious by mark's crying, faster than him. If, and its a big if since busch had the car to beat, Jr did get around him and then caught another caution, he would have been back on the lead lap.

---> So if Junior is 2 laps down & gets past Busch & the caution flies, he's back on the lead lap??No, he's STILL one lap down, BEHIND every other one lap down car.Then he has to pass them & get another caution for the stupid lucky dog rule.That's a lot of things to ask for in a few laps.

But he would have the opportunity to pass a lot of cars 1 lap down to gain a lot of positions even if he weren't on the lead lap, he had a lot to gain by getting around them.
 
WOW, don't burn me like that, man. Really don't care who your friends are, lap3. I'm debating something with fergy, here. I don't think I'm always right, just have my opinions. If you can't take them,that's too bad. ROLL TIDE...hold the rope !!
 
You never know when the lead car will hit the wall or cut down a tire. That's why you have to race hard even 5 laps down.
 
There could also be a "big one" that takes out 3/4 of the field and renders them helpless in turn 4 of the last lap also, I suppose. But the odds are against it. Actually, there was probably a better chance of that happening than jr passing Busch outright.

"Hold the rope" was the term used by Dennis Franchione of A&M fame now....is he still saying that?

Yeah, I guess you guys are right...
If Jr. would have gotten a lap back he may have finished 26th instead of 32nd. Probably would have taken a big chunk out of his 137 point deficit from the chase.

Mark is one of the most respected drivers in Nascar----ask any driver. He is also one of the most courteous---again ask any driver.

I don't dislike any driver----well, except for Whiner 24----but there used to be respect for lead lap cars on a restart near the end of the race---Jr. did not get as good a start as he could have and did stackup cars behind him just a bit-----but that 'bit' was all it took to string out all those drivers behind him. Sure he was faster once up to speed----that was not my question----it was the bonehead move when the green dropped. ;)
 
that is defintly true
when i was like 5 my dad told me that rusty wallce is a cry baby and i belived him
so every sunday i was out at my grandpa's house i would ask who he wants to win
hey always said rusty (even though he dont like him) and i would yell dad pap want the cry baby to win!!
