Back to the subject...I was thinking the same thing. Why people feel the need to raid other boards for members is beyond me. Paul spent a lot of time building this board the right way. And alot of us have spent a lot of time contributing to that. Some people don't respect that and try to nitpick and then tear people away from it. Some people will leave, most of us long timers won't. I have hated to see some like DE and TNWardFan go, but such is life. I can't see myself switching to a board run by a teenager, but that's just me. If others want to bail, that is their choice.
 
I agree 4x I just don't see myself going anywhere. I have seen reasons like, mission in life and all kind of crazy things like that. It's just a forum, you don't have to leave mad, thats crazy.

I'm back! 4x, I don't believe that you have to belong to one board alone. Although, this is home and I certainly don't plan on leaving ya'll any time soon, I can check in at other boards. If only to offer what little bit of wisdom I can (be quiet 97! :wub: ) and also be able to enjoy myself by seeing what is going on elsewhere.
And 4x, I agree with you that there is some folks that have left that I really enjoyed talking to.

I started my own board, so I could control one myself...Its a lot fun actually...I post in 6 message boards...and I thought It was time for my own. Im still here, but I have been really busy lately. I like all of the boards I post in.

Does It really matter who runs it? If I were 102 would you join? Its a racing message board, and the way I see it, there are all ages around the US that like Nascar, and they have opinions.
 
Hey, I love you guys, there's no way I'd ever jump ship on you :lol: ! Well, I started my board with an intention to make it a Harvick board, because we have lots of Harvick fans there, well I just decided to switch it off to another racing-forums type place with a few cool looking adjustments because I already have a lot of time on my hands and I do know how to edit the board wrappers and edit the CSS coding and stuff. Rest assured, the day I leave this place is the day Jack Sprague wins the Nextel Cup Championship.

Ok---something I rarely do:Stick to the topic. :p BOTH of you guys did a great job on your boards,Happy and ward.They both look smooth and professional.Good job by you guys.I WILL check 'em out and drop by from time to time...but like has been said:This is my 'home' board and the primary one I will stay on----and even though you guys have boards of your own now,ya'll should still stick around and interact with us over here too....

Hmm, Good luck if you do start a board, it's going to be easy to make it all, the layout design and stuff but attracting members and increasing member activity is diificult. I'm thinking about shutting down my forum because the only activity I see is between me and like two other people.
 
You need something that sets your forum apart from the others. A reason for members to return, participate.
Having a site with some content goes a long way also.
 
I am still around. I have joined Ward's board I really like the black background. This is still my home board. I sorta like it here and might stick around a while.
