all those BIG BIRDS look alike to me..........I wouldn't know one from the other if it bit me in the butt........:)

I don't think you would mistake a bird with a 9 ft wing span as anything but a Condor........well maybe a small airplane.:)

We're going to Kona, Hawaii in March. The Hawaiian Islands are just a tiny bit of imagination away from pure paradise. There is still plenty of room to get away from the crowds.

I Love going to Clearwater, FL and I love Brown County, Indiana. THey are so beautiful

Hawaii was great. Just wish I didn't go with my Grandparents and my parents though. Didn't do much while we were there. They had to play golf.

Myrtle Beach, been there way to many times to remember. I go at least once a year. I love it, I was there in August and I can't wait to go back next August.

When I was young and lived in St. Augustine we used to go to the Smoky's every year. Now that I live in the Foothills of the Smoky's seams that everyone wants to go to the Beach. Go figure.
Best vacation I've had was five days camping across the street from Bristol during the spring race.

Hey Gollum, I've always wanted to see the Ozarks. What towns do you recommend? Somewhere with something to do, but not as overblown as Gatlinburg would be right up my alley.

Right on Alaska. Kona gets my vote for sure...

Its tough to pick just one favorite though. I like to plan vacations around, guess what...race weekends!

My favorite so far...

2 weeks on the beaches in Thailand...then a trip to Kuala Lumpur for the Malaysian GP...

:D :D :D

I like it where I am just fine. Plenty to do all year around. Ceder Point, Six Flags. All kinds of special events in the summer like air shows and rib cookoffs. Short tracks everywhere. I can hear the waves of Lake Erie crash against the shores frome my house. Parks and rivers. The only thing we do not have is pumpkin chunkin:( .

Branson Mo. Is a nice place. Tablerock lake is a bautiful lake. Plenty of music and things to do. Also Springfield. Depends on what you like and want to do.

I have family in Arizona, so I head there in the winter. I can stay for free, and they feed me for free. All it costs is a plane ticket. The weather is warm and no snow to shovel, that's a vacation.

Favorite place is Ouray, Colorado. Fabulous campground just north of town on the Uncomphagre River. In the middle of the old gold rush mines. Great jeep trails high in the mountains.

the San Jaun island off the coast of Washington!! We rode in a 1928 bi-plane there! It was great.

Might I also recommend Eureka Springs Arkansas. It is kind of a neat little town.

Did you get to Rosario Island. Beautiful spot.

Mountain View, Ar. is nice too, if you like mountain music. On the town square at night you can hear free concerts from the time the sun goes down until after midnight. It is one of those towns that got lost in time. It is great this time of year.

I like going to a mountain cabin type place, camping is always nice and relaxing for me.

I like California, specifically Santa Barbara. I love the beach, if its not closed because of pollution. Also, thats were I am from and have many relatives there I don't see too often.

Yea I have been there. Went to the Passion Play and all. IT was pretty cool.

Blackwater Falls West Virginia...That has got to be the most beautiful place I have ever seen in person. My wife and I went there for our one year anniversary and haven't been able to go back since, mostly because of the kids just not being old enough to camp. But, we are hopeing to go next summer if the finances allow for it. It is around 1500 acres of nature. We are planning to rent a cabin for the week when we go.

Anybody else ever been there?

MO to see my grandparents (step-dads parents)
AL
East Tn in the mountians
Lake

anywhere but here, as long as i get to go somewhere i am happy. :)

Is that anywhere near Harper's Ferry? IM28 and I went there for a bluegrass festival last year, and loved it. We will likely go back for a honeymoon next year.

Sorry, I couldn't tell ya. I just spent like 5 minutes looking at a map of West Virginia and I didn't see a "Harper's Ferry" so I don't know. It is just below the tip of where Pennsylvania dips into the northeast portion of West Virginia. Did that make sense?
