Here kitty, kitty, kitty
If you were a millionaire, or rather, a billionaire and owned a big time Cup team, who would you hire, Dario or Frank? Francitti (sp) or Kimmel?
It's always puzzled me, especially these days, why the top cup owners have been looking outside the normal stockcar racing circuits for a driver. I now see that Chip Ganassi looking at those top names in the open wheel series, and for the record, I don't see anything wrong with that, but I'll go on about that later. But as I'm watching the ARCA race today, it makes me wonder why Frank Kimmel has never been offered a good ride in the Cup series. He's not the only one, but I think y'all know what I mean. And it's not just these days that the ARCA boys have been overlooked. There have been a few that have been tabbed for a ride, but for one reason or another, they just never made it to the top. Now it looks as though the ARCA series is just another proving ground for the owners to put their choices of drivers to learn NASCAR.
