To replace Allmendinger, as someone has to do it:)

1. Hornish

2. Vickers

3. Martin

4. Sorenson

5. Kurt Busch

6. Dave Blaney

7. Your choice.

Please keep in mind that if I've forgot anyone's favorite, it's not because I hate them - I simply forgot ;)

I wonder if we could add ?

8. Ryan Newman

9. Martin Truex

I personally would love to see Dave Blaney get the chance .

Personally I wouldn't consider Hornish, Sorenson, or Blaney. I think Vickers is going to end up @ MWR. Martin only wants to run part time so forget him. Kurt Busch, waaay to much baggage to consider IMO. I think Truex re-ups @ MWR.

I'd go Newman if he becomes available.

Didn't Busch get fired from Penske?

I would go Newman or Vickers. My top choice would have been Martin if he wanted to run a full season.

My dream is that Matt Kenseth reunites with the Pennzoil #9. Sorry Marcos. ;)

OK, time to stop dreaming. Joey Logano in the #22. In fact, that's my prediction for 2013. Brad is high on Logano. Penske says they see him as a top choice. Logano has already spoken to Penske. IMO, Brad will have a lot to say about who Penske chooses, and that won't be Newman. Forget about the sponsor aspect, because Roger and Shell have a different kind of relationship. When they switched from RCR, Pennzoil even said publicly it wasn't about who drives the car because it is a business to business deal worth 100's of millions of dollars.

Anyone but Hornish. Sunday's NNS race is just the latest example of why I feel that way.

Is AJ on the list? I heard he was 2 nanograms over the limit of fish oil...

Why, because you think he's pretty? ;)

IMO, Trevor is 2 fulltime NW seasons away from proving himself ready for cup.

I don't see anything passed an ugly blue oval:mad:

I say Bayne because I think F*rd wants to keep him and Roush can't seem to put something together for him, and Roger is obviously having a tough time keeping someone in the 22. I think the driver will come from the F*rd camp. I can't see them keeping Hornish, especially with the free agent market and what's out there.

Logano makes the most sense, probably would mesh with Brad the best.

I wonder who would wear the firesuit in that relationship?

IMO, Brad has already started his get Joey on the team campaign. Brad needs someone who can give good feedback and help push the organization foward. I think Roger is smart enough to know that any call from Newman is just to get a ride until something else opens up. I still wonder about Addington feeding SHR some info late last year. The Penske cars had something that was getting them hooked up off the corners better than anyone else, until Tony started to get the same jump. Newman and Tony's friendship and future plans together is something Roger should be wary of.

If its who I'd like to see and not who will be I want AJ back.

@jim_utter: Hearing no external candidates will be considered for Penske No. 22 #NASCAR Cup ride”

I hope they mean just for this year. Hood pin Sam is not the way to go.

Whoever said logano,,could ya send me some of what yer smokin',,,please.o_O

Sorry, I'm all out. 22 years old. 130 races 2 wins, 16 top 5's, 36 top 10's and 4 poles isn't stellar, but he shows potential. I took another puff and I'm still holding out hope for Matt in the 22 next year.
