Yesterday was the first time I've paid much attention to any racing for about a month so I'm sure I've missed a lot of silly season moves. All I know is that Bowyer is going to MWR, right? Who is ending up on new teams/sponsors or what?

Kahne is going to #5 Hendrick car
Martin is going to #00 MWR Part time
#6 has no sponsor and at this time looks like that car will be off the grid next year
Red Bull Racing is up in the air
Childress is cutting the #33 to part time with Austin Dillion I believe
Danica is part time with Stewart Haas in the #10

David Reutimann, David Ragan, and Brian Vickers are left looking for rides as of right now.

Jayski's has 2012 full-time and part-time teams listed here...> http://www.jayski.com/pages/2012teams.htm

I could see Reutimann running part-time at Stewart Haas with Danica. Maybe Tony will hire Dwayne Bigger (also known as Billy Bad Butt) as well. Someone's gotta keep the #10 in the top 35.

Vickers goes to Nationwide and Ragan goes back to legends in Georgia.

Thanks guys. It will be a sad day in NASCAR if the 6 isn't running full time.

Sucks for Vickers and David Reutimann, saw it comming with Regan though.

Addington has left the building. I guess he couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.

Good for him. Smart move. He'll land somewhere and it'll be allot better than the situation he came from.

Steve Addington spotted doing victory burnouts in parking lot of Penske Racing, with windows down, blaring Kool & The Gang's "Celebration."

LOL, he's certainly smiling for the first time this season :D

Everyone warned Steve, but he didn't listen. At this point, Kyle has a chance to actually change, but Kurt's a lost cause. I thought he had changed, but being outrun by Brad has brought out the worst in him.

Did anyone notice Kyle back out of that 3 wide situation with Kez and Stewart? Good and respectful decision to give Tony the extra room.

Now might just be the perfect opportunity for someone from this board to get a big time NASCAR crew chief job. I can't imagine that there's all that many people lining up for Addington's former job.

someone will. even though Kurt is a major dickhead how could someone miss a great opportunity to be a Crew Chief for a major team like Penske?

ROFL...BEST POST EVER! lol

5 team engineer Chris Heroy will become crew chief of the No. 42 Chevy team and Juan Pablo Montoya at Earnhardt Ganassi.

The answers just keep coming. It's going to be a very busy off season.

Good idea. I'll tell Dustin Long. Great and accurate reporter who has lost his job.

Hate seeing this

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP)—Roush Fenway Racing began laying off employees Tuesday as it prepares to field fewer cars in 2012.

The team had four Sprint Cup Series teams and three Nationwide Series cars this season. Sponsorship woes likely will lead to the organization closing down the No. 6 Cup team of David Ragan and scale back to only one full-time Nationwide car.

Team spokesman Kevin Woods indicated a second Nationwide car could run on a limited basis, and although talks with sponsors continue, the process of “right-sizing the organization to suit the number of anticipated teams” began Tuesday.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wrapped up the Nationwide title last weekend at Homestead, and Carl Edwards narrowly lost the Cup title to Tony Stewart in Sunday’s season finale.

Andy Lally returning to Grand-Am Series: Andy Lally will return to the Grand-Am Series in 2012 after spending the last season in NASCAR. Lally will drive for Magnus Racing in the Rolex Sports Car Series GT division next year. He was the rookie of the year in NASCAR's elite Sprint Cup Series. He drove for underfunded TRG Motorsports but left the team before last weekend's season finale. Lally ran 30 NASCAR races this season, with a season-best finish of 19th at Talladega. He's hoping to still run NASCAR, particularly road-course events. Lally is a three-time Rolex Series champion and Grand-Am's all-time mileage and podiums leader. He's also a three-time Rolex 24 at Daytona winner. He will team with owner/driver John Potter. Shane Wilson new crew chief for Kevin Harvick. Gil Martin is director of team operations, reporting to competition director Kent Day.

Per Bob Pockrass.

In announcement, Childress said Harvick came to him after Phoenix race and "asked for a change in the leadership of his team.''

Shane Wilson and Kevin Harvick teamed to win the 2006 Nationwide title, winning 10 races that year.

Some Hendrick info/quotes today.....

From here.

He was keeping an eye on Stewart's crew chief, Darian Grubb, as well. Grubb is looking for a job after Stewart-Haas Racing fired him at the end of the season (he was given notice after the Charlotte race), and Hendrick said he'd love to welcome the former Hendrick Motorsports engineer back to the team.

But he also said Grubb has many options and isn't sure what the crew chief will decide to do.

"I hope Darian ends up back with us (in an engineering role)," Hendrick said. "I think he would help our organization. (But) if he wants to be a crew chief, then we don't have that spot."

Hendrick said all of the team's current driver/crew chief combinations – Jimmie Johnson/Chad Knaus, Dale Earnhardt Jr./Steve Letarte and Jeff Gordon/Alan Gustafson, along with the incoming Kasey Kahne/Kenny Francis pairing – will stay intact for next season.

Any one else find it interesting that Hendricks can't make a Crewcheif opening for this years Cup Championship Crewcheif? Wonder whats going on there?

Where would you put him though?

And I don't think that Grubb wants a CC position anyway, based upon some statements he made. An engineer or competition director makes the most sense for him, it would seem, cause that way he can stay at home.

So where would that put him among other crew chiefs? Top ten ? Top twenty?
