The media seems to be making much of the news lately rather than simply reporting the news. So why don't they sponser a car?

It would be great watching the guys in the NBC booth ignore the Fox car when it has the lead....and vica versa.

Conflict of interest I'd assume. They do have that segment where they "pick" their drivers, but lets be honest here. They pick the best runners for the day and even then, you don't ever hear them "root" for them, so it's completely and utterly pointless. So, i feel right now, while they may have a favorite driver, for the most part, they don't openly express it. They just really love to kiss the butt of a driver who has been dominate all year and can't seem to stop talking about them (plus jeff gordon's love for chase elliot).

This was particularly annoying when all they could talk about was Kyle Busch after he won the championship. In my opinion, he should have never been allowed to make the chase. Miss half the season and you're still given the ok? How is that fair to the rest of the competition. Anyways, different conversation.

The broadcast team is already annoying as is. Do you really want to hear them talk about a Fox/NBC car all day?

I could see a particular show sponsoring a car. Like American Ninja Warrior or something along those lines, or have many different shows on the car.

I've been wondering why instead of thwir being the official blah blah of NASCAR why not make those companies sponsor a car?
R U working for the RTA or something? :D Seriously, I suspect that revenue distribution will be a topic of intense discussion in the coming years. Could go the way you suggest, or other mechanisms, but something needs to change. Nascar makes great profits, and the tracks do too, while the teams are getting squeezed from all sides. It's a ticking time bomb, IMO.

"You wanna be official? Chip in where it's noticed"..

Wouldn't it be nice if BF or whoever the new president said such words? Not going to happen but damnnnnnn....

I saw an NBC car the other week.

There used to be a lot of stuff where DC Comics or Warner Bros. would sponsor cars. They had Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman cars. I guess they still do for the movies sometimes, but not the TV shows (shame, if there was a car with nice, cute, pretty Supergirl on it, I'd buy the die-cast in record setting time). Warner Brothers had the Looney Tunes cars a few times at Richmond Raceway. And the rock and country themed cars.

Man, 2001-2005 was so much fun. I'd like to see more of that in NASCAR. For the kids. I want to see it in the short tracks too, not plain black cars.

I thought they did, it might be broke. Jabba was driving one about 30 miles an hour acting like he was flying around the tracks shouting at the top of his lungs pointing out bumps and dips explaining just how to make fast laps around the track. Just like he watched the other drivers do while he was running in 20th.
