Plate races dont count for much.
The risk factor is off the charts. Drivers hate it, they dont enjoy it at all.

The Daytona 500 purse is the largest of any track. I would say it counts for a lot...
I think Edwards said one time that racing at a plate track is just like riding along the interstate & even the lines are the same.I dont mean money or points wise.
The racing. You just ride along and hope you miss a wreck. Not much goes into it.
And the way some of y'all talk about NASCAR, you guys should take up a new sport.
