Will anyone win 5+ races?

I also think the 48 can do it. I wouldn't be surprised if the 4 & 2 did it. Never count out the 18, if Kyle gets things going he can pull off 2-3 more wins.

After Tony won 5 out of the 10 Chase races in 2011 after saying "we don't deserve to be in the Chase" I'm not counting out anything.

Gordon has been the most consistent this year (knock on wood) if he catches a break with the GWC not coming out at the mile n a halfers - watch out. He'd be the 1st to get 5 and maybe even 2 or 3 in a row.

This. So damn impressed with his year. Could EASILY get on a roll. Watch out Chase.

4, 24, 48, 2, 22......There ya go. Any of 'em could easily get on a roll. If one of the JGR guys got going, I think it would be an epic turn around.

Youre the second person to say youre impressed with Gordon's year (granted the other was SB22). I dont see it. Gordon has had strong cars like this for several years now but he's been snake bitten the whole time. Lately it looks as though the serpent has had his fun & slithered elsewhere. He's finally racing whats expected of him.

Fair point, but in order to fulfill the expectations, he had to refrain from calling into question his own ability. Where is the line between bad luck and diminished skill? I am impressed that he kept the faith, and the dude is walking and talking differently than I have seen him in several years. In Fontana, he walked by me after losing the pole to Matt, and I wanted no part of that. Dude was pissed. I love that. One of the sport's best ever and he was fuming over a pole!

Between engines blowing up, running over the same debris again & again blowing the same tire twice after stops, having tires blown out by a teammate's tail pipes, wheel hubs melting, cautions coming out while in the pits under green flags, etc... Its been more mechanical & failed strategy more than driving ability. He's still got the same competitive fire he had 20 years ago & I dont see him slowing down anytime soon.

JJ will do it.....only other driver I see winning 5+ races is harvick

Aric Almirola and Paul Menard will get 5 a piece

Yes. I really dont think we'll see more than 2 more winners... and the guys with 1 I dont see getting more than 1 or 2 more IF they're lucky... but the 2, 22, 4, and 48 could easily be in victory lane any given weekend. I think we'll see at least 2 drivers with 5+ wins
