Will there be the changes for the All Star race next year?

Why can't we be like other sports...they do just fine without much change.....Sometime I think we are a bunch of whiney crybabies
Can you imagine baseball fans wanting to change the number of innings in a game ? Or more balls , fewer strikes ? How about adding another base ?

I was just saying that about you the other day. Funny coincidence. ;)

Exactly and that sport is worst off then Nascar, I am perfectly happy with being a Nascar fan, it's always complaining though, My god Charlotte gets 132,000 fans for an all star race, good ratings on TV and it's Armageddon

The fans in attendance didn't know the segment winners were going to ride around the back like that so using attendance as proof of a successful format doesn't work.

Back to the topic question, yes, we will se a format change next year.

The "all star" event in other sports has waned for several years. Even the most successful sport in the US, the NFL, has a big problem with their so called all star game. The MLB has something that helps with the winner getting home team advantage in the World Series, but that doesn't seem to help all that much. I won't even go into the NBA all star game. NASCAR has a chance to really shine with this event and they keep trying. Maybe one day they will hit on something that everyone will like. Just remember one huge thing, the sponsors have the biggest say so, unlike other sports.

Johnson still had to get off a good restart, which he did. I just think there should be more laps on the final segment, that late caution in segment 4 also ruined alot of strategy.
