Winner's post-race celebration

Fed up with burnouts, back flips, and fence climbing.
I could compromise and and accept gymnastic splits from future female winners.

Kiss: Keep it Simple _____.

Just an old fashion winning parked car in front of the flagstand. A winner standing beside the trophy, wearing a chosen cap. Most importantly with a troohy queen flashing glorious thighs, weaing an impossibly snug top, and a million dollar smile.
Every driver that risks their life, chasing the dream and glory, deserves that perfect moment.

Thought of you @Greg in the Kidrock song to open 'Tona. All those kisses in victory lane...

not sure that i'm ready for the NFL stuff, but it's quite apparent you are somewhere near my age. that lap around the track was always cool. and kulwicki took it to the next level.

and the best drivers where I came from had a flag holder welded to the door frame (late 60's, early 70's).

one step further, and this was at the menard's closed (land values) hales corners, the driver (Sievert? his tradition?) gave the flag to a kid from the stands. (Damn I love short tracks!)

All the guys at my local short track had the flag holder welded to the door frame. Some drivers had the paint worn off them and some looked like brand new. I always like it at races and games where the young kids are given a thrill by a driver or player. Like you I love short tracks too. I think Nascar has to many 1.5 mile tracks right now.

Maybe some of the top Nascar drivers can get with some NFL receivers and learn how to bust a few moves.
If I never see another receiver dance, I'll die a happy man. They're bad enough live, but when the producer insists on rerunning them?

As to burnouts, I recall it was Jack Sprague who did a burnout that set the tires on fire. For me, that's now the standard; all other burnouts pale in comparison.

I like Brad's flag display. I like Carl going into the stands. I like Kyle's bow, especially when he delivers it to a booing crowd. I loved 'Polish'. I wouldn't mind if they just stopped on the line, sat in the window, and waved; I've usually either gone to the bathroom or (if I'm really lucky) left my my seat and headed to the car.

What ever happened to a driver taking the checker flag then take a victory lap around the track and head straight to victory lane?
Damn man.......... It sure took a long time for someone to come up with a novel idea like that.......... I agree wholeheartedly!!!!!!!!! All this burnout crap appears pretty childish to me.

Nascar and Nascar Drivers think, well, there is no pleasing them.

What to do, what to do!
