Kiki Iriafen Named Caitlin Clark's Most Underrated Teammate​

When discussing who she felt was USA Basketball's most underrated player, Clark named 22-year-old teammate Kiki Iriafen. The second year player made an immediate impact for the Washington Mystics as a rookie after being drafted fourth overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft out of USC.




Clark was very quick to praise Iriafen's game despite having to watch her from the sidelines last season.

"And obviously, I haven't played against her yet as a professional, but getting to watch her from the sideline this year, she was outstanding, and I think she has a really bright future too," Clark said.
 
What a joy it was to see Caitlin back in action. She had 17 points and 12 assists in a game where she shared her playing time. Her passing and shooting are right on track. She is just so much fun to watch play the game.

I don't think there should be a salary cap at this time. But I get it, without one, Indiana, Las Vegas and New York would look like the Dodgers, Yankees and Mets.
 
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are excellent together as teammates. They both compliment each other perfectly.

Caitlin, Angel and Paige at the Olympics are going to be incredible to watch.
 
"CC came to play in her first start for the #USABWNT," Team USA wrote. It also posted the video on X and called it a "strong showing" from Clark.

While the New Zealand game was her first start, it's worth noting that Clark has been impactful for Team USA through four games in the competition.

It's worth noting that she currently leads the squad in points (51), assists (25) and plus-minus rating (+104). Team USA remains undefeated with a 4-0 record.
 
Looking forward to Team USA's last game in Puerto Rico. Shows just how good the U.S. players are compared to the other countries.
