WNBA Fever 2026

I give up!!

NBCSN (NBC Sports Network) is not currently available on AT&T U-verse because the network was shut down by NBCUniversal. While a new version of the channel was relaunched, it is currently exclusive to Xfinity. I had to turn the game off to get some work done real quick. Checking back in.

Double-double for Caitlin Clark. This is Caitlin Clark's record-breaking 12th game with 20+ points and 10+ assists, breaking Caitlin Clark's previous record of 11.

Turned it back on and the first thing I see is Sophie getting fouled egregiously and the refs not calling it.
 
I don't watch pregame so I didn't catch it, but the WNBA revised the box score from Friday's game, giving Caitlin a double-double from that game. There were two definitive assists that they did not count, which they went back and counted.
 
I don't know what the rules are regarding in-season trades but Indiana should think about trading for Cam Brink. She's just riding pine in Los Angeles despite what she can do.
 
Catching up on some of the other things in the league.

Some blatant, classless, bullshiit stat padding last night from Dallas and Paige Bueckers. Up big over Washington, Washington benches their starters, and they put Paige back in to take shot after shot after shot to pad her stats.

I'm so over Paige Bueckers.

We need to see Caitlin Clark play a full season now that she has been in the WNBA for a little while. I think she has the potential to be a great player. she is developing well in all aspects of the game.

I wonder if this has something to do with her getting into it with Coach White the other day after being benched.

I don't want her to lose her fire, but I also wish she would quit kirking out when she gets penalized, when she doesn't get a call, or when she gets benched when the team's up 20 points.

Yeah, that will hurt the team as Rickea was doing great. Skylar Diggins also has an injury. There is a big turnaround for the Sky this year and they are real competitors. They are also a team that I can now like with some very good players on it.
