Bingo!I can assure you its a done deal, nobody is spending that kind of money for 1 race weekend.
fantastic... and long overdue!I can assure you its a done deal, nobody is spending that kind of money for 1 race weekend.
It will be repaved after this race, from my understanding. It does.
I just wish they had repaved it.
I’ve heard it’ll likely replace the Bristol dirt race.I can assure you its a done deal, nobody is spending that kind of money for 1 race weekend.
Flying directly in the face of the tire testing results. It will be repaved after this race, from my understanding.
The asphalt in place now was in much better shape than anyone thought which is why they canceled the dirt races and went full speed ahead with this race.
Yes! I was just about to post this. The throwback race should be held at North Wilkesboro. The place just screams retro.
Jr hinted at such way back. I think they'll make this the dirt race and market the "heritage." mrehI’ve heard it’ll likely replace the Bristol dirt race.
Besides the traffic situation, this is what I’m most worried about. The nascar folk are a fickle fan base, if this race flops Sunday and their “Muh entertainment” is a bust…they’ll turn on this place real quickI hope this new car and the crap racing it's put on at the short tracks doesn't ruin this for us.
I don’t want to live in a world with One trip to Bristol. That’s a shame if that’s the case.Jr hinted at such way back. I think they'll make this the dirt race and market the "heritage." mreh
I’m guessing these will be season tickets with no specific schedule.

I interpreted the Dr. saying that a paved Wilkesboro race would take the place of dirt Bristol. Could be totally wrong though.I would rather they go to an actual dirt track like Eldora and just pay to repave NWB. A lot of the nostalgia for NWB is for the paved surface.
On this we agree! Cheers!I would rather they go to an actual dirt track like Eldora and just pay to repave NWB. A lot of the nostalgia for NWB is for the paved surface.
No, I think Jr was dancing around covering NW in dirt to get Bristol paved back. But this was way before anything was official.I interpreted the Dr. saying that a paved Wilkesboro race would take the place of dirt Bristol. Could be totally wrong though.
I'd LOVE to go see the SLM or Late Models this week, but traffic on a work night is my fear. Especially with Chase running.
