And NASCAR will likely give the wrecked cars a full lap to move before throwing the yellow, which gives Larson a full lap on the new tires. It ain’t gonna win him the race, but ya gotta try it.

Larson had a lockup and flat spotted a tire, and he didn't think he could hold off the cars behind him on the restart, so they decided to pit for tires. Unfortunately not many others pitted.
