A big part of it could be confidence also since it’s really his first ever start in a truly competitive ride. It takes some time to get used to running near the front. Maybe he will improve with a couple more starts in that car. Not likely but possible.

Once upon a time I hated it when they came to Fontana, but it became a track I came to enjoy. Glad it got a couple of good races to send it off.

The one with Graf Jr seems to be lacking something…

He finished 11th which was way better than I expected. I thought he was gonna spin out several times and finish in the 20s but he kept his nose clean and wasn't way off on speed.
I'm in fact relatively impressed.
